new day
wow. we didn't see any leonids last night. one guy's blog said he saw 9 over a two hour span. damnit. i might try to get out again tonight, but it's tough since i'm all surgured...
i went to bed right at 0100 this morning, but this time mom helped me migrate upstairs to sleep in the front guest room. my back still hurt a little from being in one stupid position all night. bleh. i did get up around 4am to go to the bathroom. getting in and out of bed was rather easy, but walking was a slow trek. i didn't page mom to help since i figured i would be ok and she needed the rest, too.
i took some more percocet at 0100 and again at 0400 but not since. i woke up at 0915, damnit, to go to the bathroom, but i paged mom to help me this time, and i knew she was awake. afterwards i went back to sleep again but had a fit of a time trying to go back to sleep, but managed to do so and finally got up about 1130.
don't think of this the wrong way, but mom helped me take a shower :) i was half-dressed and she just washed my feet and legs since i couldn't bend over. afterwards i closed the shower curtain, undressed, and did the remainder myself :) i finished up, dried off my top, but mom had to help with my feet and legs again. i got new clothes on and she helped me downstairs where she made another great breakfast of oatmeal, eggs, and biscuits. yummy for the tummy. except it was a bit much and now i'm very stuffed. oof.
some time later today, stacie should drop by to visit. and later tonight i'm due to take my Avonex :( bleh. but that will be around 2100 tonight. i hope that doesn't cause me too terribly much more grief tomorrow with all of this going on.
right now, tho, i need to go brush my teeth. gotta have priorities :)
oh and the big news: while i was snoozing this morning, mom got a Su Do Ku puzzle from the paper and solved it completely without any errors!! she learned how it all flows together and did it without cheating!! :) yaaay! everyone give mom a round of applause :)
