good night
well, it's been a "bleh" day mostly... i'm sooooo tired of laying down.
i've managed to sit upright (but not 90-degrees, but at an incline) a lot more. i've been walking around a lot more, too. i don't have the insane fear that i've ripped open the stitches on the inside. the outside glued scar seems to be changing, i assume healing :) some parts aren't as puffy as before. one corner is actually sunk inward, like a dimple :) haha
i haven't stayed toooooooooo doped up on the percocet, but i have kept a moderate amount in me. i now understand the pain portion of everything. yikes. i also have a good idea on how to manage it. i would expect a much better sleep tonight than last night.
mom and i watched 'close to home' because she wanted to see it. she doesn't really like the show a lot, and i can understand why. they haven't "humanized" the characters much, so there's no real attachment to them, like in CSI, etc. we also watched a CSI episode she had not yet seen (the one with the dead lady strung up in the church).
i've moved to my temporary bed downstairs for sleep, but i can't decide if i'm "sleep ready" or not. i could pop a pill and pass out, but i would like to contact other humans a bit too :) oh well. i think someone might come by tomorrow for a brief visit, but i can't remember. i think stacie is due to arrive sometime sunday.
i'm gonna take my MS medicine sunday night instead of saturday. that way i will be a wee bit more healed from this incident so i can then deal with the aches and shit from that. i just know the side effects from the Avonex are gonna cause some real pain with the left-over surgery stuff. although, i'll have percocet with me this time for the aches and pains :-D hehehhe maybe it won't be so bad after all! haha!
but that's getting ahead of myself. tomorrow night is the Leonid showers, so those of you who can get outside at 2345 EST had better do so!! the show is supposed to be great this year. go out of town if you have to, to remote dark areas. take some blankets and chairs if you do. i should feel decent enough, myself, to poke my head outside and see them.
